Full Service Facility
We are a Full Service Facility with Anesthesia, Surgical, Dental Care, and X-rays on-site. We provide Health and Wellness Evaluations, Vaccinations and Hospitalization for ill pets.
Complete Companion Animal Care
Our veterinarians and staff recognize that your pet is a member of
your family, therefore very important to you. We are dedicated to complete, compassionate care for all our patients. With this in mind,
we offer a full range of veterinary services, including examinations,
vaccinations, medical and surgical treatments, as well as nutritional
consultations.
Wellness & Preventative Medicine
Our focus is to help prevent disease and illness in your family's
pets. Our goal is to help you minimize the need to treat and cure
preventable diseases. Preventative Medicine increases your pet's
chances of having a long and healthy life. We accomplish this through
routine annual physical examinations of your pet, proper nutrition,
parasite control and through the use of a vaccination program based on
an individualized risk assessment for your pet.
Examinations & Vaccinations
Annual examinations and vaccinations are the core elements of a health
care program for every cat and dog. Yearly examinations enable us to
quickly detect any health issues that may cause concern. This, along
with individual pet risk assessment, allows us to determine the
appropriate vaccines to use, in order to minimize the risk of a
variety of infectious diseases.
In-House Pharmacy
Once a diagnosis is made, it is important to begin the appropriate
course of therapy as soon as possible. Our in-house pharmacy makes it
possible for our veterinarians to begin therapy with the prescribed
medication before your pet leaves our clinic. As well, we have access
to technology that allows us to add flavor to medications thereby
making it taste like a treat. Our goal is to make giving medication to
your pet as easy as possible.
Routine Surgeries
Our surgical suite enables us to offer a wide range of surgical
treatments, including elective surgeries such as spays and neuters. As
well, we can also perform corrective surgeries, laceration repairs,
orthopedics and reproductive procedures.
Small Animal Dentistry
This service includes cleaning, scaling and, if necessary,
extractions. When your pet is ready to leave after his dental
appointment, we will schedule a post-surgery consultation to discuss
options available to maintain your pet's smile at-home. This may
include a special diet, brushing as well as few other things.
In-House Laboratory
Early and quick diagnosis is the most important step to ensure the
best possible chance of successful treatment of any health problems
that your pet may suffer from. Our in house laboratory, equipped with
a wide range of diagnostic equipment, gives us the ability to provide
a quick diagnosis and medical response. We also perform pre-anaesthesia blood screens to minimize anaesthetic risk and to detect
sub-clinical problems that could affect your pet’s health during
surgery.
Nutritional Consultation
Proper nutrition is vital to the long term health of your pet and
nutritional needs can vary from animal to animal. Specialized and
veterinary diets are sometimes necessary and are available at our
clinic. Our staff would be happy to discuss any dietary concerns
affecting your pet, as well as make recommendations on the best food
for your pet. Should your pet need a diet that we do not carry, please
speak to us as we would be happy to order it for you.
Grief Counselling
Few things are as devastating as the loss of the unconditional love
that pets bring to our lives. Please feel free to speak to us about
the services and resources we can offer to help you and your family
through this difficult time. |
