OUR ADMININSTRATIVE STAFF Paula - Practice Manager Paula first came to us from Ontario in 2007 with previous Veterinary Assistant and Office Management experience. You can find her keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes but she always loves to help out receptionists and assistants when needed. When not at our practice, Paula loves to keep busy with her husband, Steve, three sons Ryan, Eric and Alex, and daughter Emily. If this wasn't busy enough they also have a Bernese Mountain dog named Heidi and a cat named Archie. In her spare time, Paula loves to stay active by hiking, playing basketball, and walking along the beach with her family. Lisa - Reception Team Leader Lisa joined the practice in 2003 after working at Telus in customer service for 20 years. Working in a veterinary clinic was something Lisa has always wanted to do. She shares her life with her two children, husband, one dog, three cats, and two horses. She loves to ride her horses with her daughter who shares her passion. Lisa loves working with people and their pets. Cheryl - Receptionist Cheryl joined the practice in 1995 after working for almost a decade in an environmental laboratory. She continues to enjoy the change from her previous position and finds the new challenges in a veterinary office very rewarding. She hopes to be the smiling face behind the reception desk for many decades to come! Cheryl's enthusiastic approach to veterinary reception and her enjoyment of keeping pets and people happy have contributed greatly to the education and feeling of ease for both our patients and their people. If ever a concern arises about any aspect of our client service, Cheryl is quick to do what is necessary to meet our clients expectations. Being outdoors and active, spending time with family and friends, and her love of being a Mum of two children are Cheryl's passions when she's not hard at work. Melissa - Receptionist Melissa came to us in 2008 with nine years of customer service and two years of managerial experience. She has two furry, four-legged family members at home. Emma, who is the oldest at the age of nine is a DSH feline, who absolutely LOVES to cuddle and drool all over you if you let her! Ashlee, a two-year-old Miniature Long-hair Dachshund, is FULL of fun loving energy and has no problem letting you know that she is a little princess. When Melissa has free time, she enjoys living life to the fullest! OUR ANIMAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGISTS Kristin Kristin graduated in 1999 from the Animal Health Technology Program
at the University College of the Cariboo (now called Thompson Rivers
